1. Acceptance of Terms


By downloading, accessing, or using Clera, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.


2. Description of Service


Clera is an informational ingredient analysis and tracking application designed to help users evaluate food and skincare products in relation to acne-associated factors.

Clera provides:

  • Ingredient breakdowns

  • Acne-associated risk indicators

  • Logging and tracking tools


Clera is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.


3. No Medical Advice


The content and analysis provided by Clera are for informational purposes only.

Clera does not:

  • Diagnose

  • Treat

  • Cure

  • Prevent medical conditions


You should consult a licensed healthcare professional before making medical or dietary decisions. Use of Clera does not create a healthcare provider–patient relationship.


4. Eligibility


You must be at least 13 years old to use Clera.

If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian permission to use the app.


5. Accounts


If you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials

  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.


6. Subscriptions and Payments


If Clera offers paid subscriptions:

  • Payments are processed through Apple’s App Store

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal

  • You may manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings

  • Refunds are handled solely by Apple

Clera does not process payments directly.


7. Acceptable Use


You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer the app

  • Attempt to extract source code

  • Use the app for unlawful purposes

  • Interfere with service performance

  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data


8. Intellectual Property


All content, software, scoring systems, trademarks, branding, and design elements within Clera are protected by U.S. intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any part of the app without written permission.


9. Disclaimer of Warranties


Clera is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee:

  • Accuracy or completeness of ingredient databases

  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

  • Specific skincare or health outcomes


Your use of Clera is at your own risk.


10. Limitation of Liability


To the fullest extent permitted under U.S. law, Clera shall not be liable for:

  • Health outcomes

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Data loss

  • Reliance on app information


11. Changes to Terms


We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of Clera after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
